Yeah, I have no idea if that's actually what they would say in France. It translates as "Turn or Feast", which I suppose could potentially make sense seeing as how the translations for "Trick" and "Treat" come out as something else, but together, the translator gave me this. With luck, it didn't lie to me!
Wikipedia failed to tell me what French people said. Oh well, I guess I'll have to trust this darn translator... -glares at it-

REGARDLESS, people in France apparently tried out ~Trick-or-Treating~ from 1997 to 2006, nine years. That, and it was only really popular around 2000. Way to fail to be interesting, Halloween!

ANYWAYYYY, how are all of you, mes enfants? My lovely, little cherubs? My dearest companions? I actually enjoyed Halloween to quite the extent! I feared I'd have a rather boring Halloween since everyone kinda seemed to be flying off to do something without me. But a select few of my lovely friends invited me to trick-or-treat with them. Yaaay! I got all of my favorite candy in the end, seeing as how we all traded. I got pretzels, Reese's Cups, Butterfingers, Kit-Kats and maaany fantastical other things. WOO. And as always, I managed to salvage yet another inside joke. They never seem to end. o_o

I grew tired of Pokemon FireRed kinda easily. D: I think the original version may have been more fun, there's a ridiculous amount of random empty space in FireRed everywhere you go. I'm playing Ruby again! Yayyyy, Generation III is my favorite~ <3
